Privacy Policy

Last updated: November 1, 2026

This policy explains how AI Label Remover (“we”, “us”), available at ai-label-remover.com, handles personal information. In short:

  • Your photos never leave your device. They are processed entirely in your browser and are never uploaded to us.
  • You can use the tool without an account.
  • Analytics only run if you agree to them, and never include your images, their file names or their metadata.
  • We do not sell your personal information.

1. Photos you clean

When you add a photo to the tool, your browser reads the file on your device, removes the metadata and creates the cleaned copy locally. The photo, its file name and the metadata inside it are not sent to our servers or to any third party, and we have no access to them. When you close or refresh the page, they are cleared from your browser’s memory.

2. Information we collect

If you create an account (optional)

We store your name, email address and password. Passwords are stored only as a salted hash, never in plain text. If you add a profile photo, it is stored so it can be shown in your account. To keep you signed in, we keep a record of your active sessions, including the IP address and browser type they were created from.

If you email us

We receive your email address and whatever you include in your message, and use them only to reply to you.

Technical information

Like any website, our hosting provider (Cloudflare) processes your IP address and basic request information (such as the page requested and your browser type) to deliver the site and protect it against abuse.

Analytics, only with your consent

If you accept analytics cookies, we may use Google Analytics and PostHog to understand how the site is used: pages visited, referring site, device and browser type, and approximate location derived from your IP address. For the tool itself we record only aggregate events, such as how many images were processed, their file format and whether AI markers were found — never the images, file names or metadata. Session recording is turned off. If you decline, these tools are not loaded.

3. How and why we use information

  • To provide your account and sign you in (necessary to perform our agreement with you).
  • To send service emails such as password resets and email verification (necessary to perform our agreement with you).
  • To keep the site secure and working, and to answer your messages (our legitimate interests).
  • To measure and improve the site (your consent).

We do not use your information for advertising, and we do not use it to make automated decisions that have legal or similarly significant effects on you.

4. Cookies

We use strictly necessary cookies to keep you signed in (only if you have an account) and to remember your cookie choice for one year. Analytics cookies from Google Analytics and PostHog are set only if you accept them, and are removed if you later withdraw consent. We do not use advertising cookies. You can change your choice at any time in .

5. Who we share information with

We share personal information only with service providers that help us run the site, under agreements that limit how they can use it:

  • Cloudflare — hosting, database, file storage and email delivery.
  • Google — Google Analytics, if you consent.
  • PostHog — product analytics, if you consent.

We may also disclose information if required by law or to protect the rights, safety or property of our users or others. These providers may process data in countries other than your own, including the United States; where required, such transfers rely on appropriate safeguards such as the European Commission’s Standard Contractual Clauses.

6. How long we keep information

  • Account information: until you ask us to delete your account.
  • Sign-in sessions: until they expire or you sign out.
  • Emails you send us: as long as needed to handle your request.
  • Analytics data: according to the retention settings of Google Analytics and PostHog.

To delete your account, email us from the address you signed up with. We will delete your account and associated data within 30 days, unless we are legally required to keep something.

7. Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, delete or receive a copy of your personal information, to object to or restrict how we use it, and to withdraw consent at any time (withdrawing consent doesn’t affect processing that already happened). To exercise these rights, email support@ai-label-remover.com. We may need to verify your identity before acting on a request. You also have the right to complain to your local data protection authority.

California residents: we do not sell personal information or share it for cross-context behavioural advertising, and we will not discriminate against you for exercising your privacy rights.

8. Children

AI Label Remover is not directed to children under 16, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. If you believe a child has given us personal information, contact us and we will delete it.

9. Security

We use reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect personal information, including encrypted connections (HTTPS) and hashed passwords. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.

10. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. We will post the new version on this page and update the date at the top. If we make significant changes, we will make reasonable efforts to let you know.
