Terms of Service

These terms govern your use of AI Label Remover (“we”, “us”), available at ai-label-remover.com(the “Service”). By using the Service you agree to these terms. If you don’t agree, please don’t use it.

1. The Service

AI Label Remover is a free tool that removes metadata (such as C2PA, XMP, EXIF and IPTC data) from image files. Processing happens in your browser; your files are not uploaded to us. How we handle personal information is described in our Privacy Policy.

2. No guarantee of results

The Service only removes metadata stored in a file. It does not remove watermarks embedded in the image pixels (such as Google SynthID), and we do not control how any platform detects or labels content. We do not guarantee that using the Service will prevent or remove any label, such as “Made with AI” or “AI info”, on Instagram, Facebook, TikTok or any other platform. Platforms may change their rules and detection methods at any time.

Removing metadata is permanent for the cleaned copy. Keep your original files if you may need their metadata later.

3. Acceptable use

You may use the Service only on files you own or have permission to edit, and only in compliance with applicable laws and the rules of the platforms where you publish. In particular, you agree not to use the Service to:

• Misrepresent AI-generated or AI-edited content as authentic where disclosure is required by law (for example under the EU AI Act) or by a platform’s rules;
• Create or spread deceptive content intended to mislead people about real events or real people, including impersonation, fraud, election interference or non-consensual intimate imagery;
• Remove or alter copyright management information (such as author, copyright or licence details) from works that are not yours, or otherwise infringe anyone’s intellectual property or privacy rights;
• Interfere with, overload or attempt to gain unauthorised access to the Service or its infrastructure.

You are solely responsible for the files you process and for how you use the results.

4. Accounts

You don’t need an account to use the tool. If you create one, you must provide accurate information, keep your password secure and are responsible for activity under your account. Tell us at support@ai-label-remover.com if you think your account has been compromised.

5. Free service and changes

The Service is currently provided free of charge. We may change, limit, suspend or discontinue any part of it at any time. If we ever introduce paid features, they will be offered under separate terms that you will be asked to accept.

6. Our intellectual property

The Service, including its design, text and code, belongs to us or our licensors. We don’t claim any rights in the files you process — they remain yours.

7. Third-party names

Product and company names mentioned on the Service (such as Adobe, Meta, Instagram, TikTok, Google and OpenAI) are trademarks of their respective owners and are used only to describe compatibility. We are not affiliated with or endorsed by them.

8. Disclaimer of warranties

The Service is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted or error-free, or that it will detect or remove all metadata in every file.

9. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, we will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for any loss of data, content, profits or reputation, arising from your use of or inability to use the Service — including any label, restriction or action a third-party platform applies to your content. Because the Service is free, our total liability for any claim relating to it is limited to USD 50.

Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law, and if you are a consumer, you keep any mandatory rights you have under the laws of the country where you live.

10. Indemnity

To the extent permitted by law, you agree to indemnify us against claims, losses and costs (including reasonable legal fees) arising from your breach of these terms or your misuse of the Service, including content you publish after processing it.

11. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service, including your account, if you breach these terms or if we discontinue the Service. You can stop using the Service at any time and ask us to delete your account.

12. General

If any part of these terms is found unenforceable, the rest remains in effect. Our failure to enforce a provision is not a waiver of it. These terms are the entire agreement between you and us about the Service.

13. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. We will post the new version on this page and update the date at the top. Continuing to use the Service after changes take effect means you accept the updated terms.
